| Q: Current Relationship Status? |
| A: Married for 28 years--my sister set me up on a blind date and it was meant to be! |
| Q: Any Children? |
| A: We have 2 children--Emily is married and living in the Twin Cities, MN. Bill also lives in the Twin Cities. |
| Q: Any Pets? |
| A: We currently have 2 dogs--Obi is a rescue lab/retriever/shepherd mix..Fozzie was our daughter's labradoodle, but she couldn't keep him, so he lives in Tomah with us. We also had a beagle (Pandora) and Palouse(named after the area in Washington State where he was born) was a retriever/lab/ Irish setter They both died around 16 years of age. Our dogs are a huge part of our lives. |
| Q: Military History? |
| A: My husband was a career Army officer. We met when he was stationed at Ft. Riley. So in a way I spent a great deal of my life in the military. We lived in Georgia, Germany, Washington, Germany again and now Wisconsin. |
| Q: Work History? |
| A: Currently, I work at Ft. McCoy at the child development center. I was a preschool teacher for 9 years. I also owned a cross-stitch shop for about 5 years. I worked in the school system while we were in Germany. |
| Q: Any post-Wyandotte education? |
| A: The University of Kansas, (my whole family are die-hard KU basketball fans) Washington State University, University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. |
| Q: What are your hobbies? |
| A: Quilting, cross-stitch and reading. I love reading all kinds of books and finding out what other people are reading. I also have a wild flower garden. One of my favorite things is to sit on my screened porch early in the morning, drink my coffee, listen to the birds sing and watch my flowers bloom. We have done lots of camping and traveling around the US and in Europe. My husband is a great trip planner and we have gone to some amazing places over the years. |
| Q: Favorite Movie(s) or type of movies? |
| A: I like romantic comedies (Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts), but also enjoy historical and socially relevant movies. One of my favorites was Crash, but I also loved Enchanted and Mama Mia! |
| Q: Favorite type of music? |
| A: I like Broadway, Motown, oldies--right now my CD player has Wicked, Bob Seager, Gloria Estefan,John Denver, Josh Groban and 3 Mo Tenors. |
| Q: Favorite High School Memory? |
| A: The great friends I made, the fun times we had, the traditions of Wyandotte and the history that was being made while we lived out our high school years. |
