I married Kathleen Zawada in 1966 and was drafted just three months later, serving two years in Germany. KU graduate. I have worked as a Letter Carrier for the past 34 years. We have three children and six grandchildren. Traveled to China three years in a row while our son worked for the GM plant in Shanghai. Climbed the Great Wall, walked in Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, just to mention a few of the unforgettable places we were fortunate enough to visit. Kathleen has competed in many cooking contests which have included trips from Hawaii to Pennsylvania. Her most current contest, 2008 Build A Better Burger, was televised on the Food Network. Retired today April 1 2011.
