In 1970 shortly after graduation I joined the Air Force. Six years later I was court-martialed with an honorable discharge. I always lived a rough and tough life, doing a lot of bad things, and being a bad influence to many. I was caught up into the world and the things of the world. Though I was brought up going to Church, and believed in Jesus from my youth, it wasn't until 1982 when I surrendered to Christ, inviting him into my heart eternally, I repented, and asked for forgiveness of my sins. Guess what. By the grace of God I was changed. I worked for the Texas House of Representatives as a Lead Heidelberg press operator. One morning on an off day, I left town, leaving my condo and all that I owned, not telling anyone when or where I was going, never to return. The next 2 years I would live as a homeless person on the streets of the west coast, owning nothing but the shirt on my back (the shirt got changed at least once a month). I wasn't around anyone I knew and nobody that knew me had any idea where I was. They all thought I had died. It was like everything was new! My whole being changed. I was already a student of the bible so I started to live what I read and understood. God showed me how far away from him I was, and how to have a close intimate relationship with him through Christ. And so the journey began with signs and wonders following. I was the most healthy, happy, content homeless person around. All of my needs were met, and I sought to help others along their way. After two years I made my transition back into society. I decided to go to Mississippi to be around my grandparents before their time expired. I became very close to them. Coming out of a period of celibacy, I decided to marry. I was sent a wife, Hattie, we married in November 1984. We have 3 children. Keisha (22), C J (19), currently serving in the US Navy, and last but not least God sent us Angel (5). Telisha (37) is my firstborn daughter, currently serving as an officer in the US Army, I have two grandchildren. I am the Graphic Arts Manager at a printing facility in New Century, KS. My main work is evangelism outside the four walls of the institutionalised church. I would have never came back to Kanas on my own accord, three years ago the company I work for in Memphis, TN (Vestcom LLC) bought out our biggest competitor (GTI), closed down our facility in Memphis, and made me a offer I couldn't refuse to relocate. Of course there is much, much more to my story.
