Eugene Lincoln Peck   
Wyandotte High School - Class of 1940

In Loving Memory.

Eugene Lincoln Peck (born 2 June 1922 in Kansas City, MO), who graduated from Wyandotte High School on 24 May 1940. He passed away on 10 Jan 2002 in American Fork, UT. He enlisted in WWII on 28 Oct 1942, reported to Ft. Leavenworth, went to officer's school to become a meteorologist, was sent to the Pacific in August 1945 (Guam, Iwo Jima, Tinian, Siapan, etc.) later shipped home and was discharged as a captain on 15 May 1946. He married Elda Shafer on 19 May 1946, had four children, obtained his Ph.D. in engineering and worked for the US government at NOAA as head of the hydrology research lab in Washington, DC for many years.
