After graduation I attended KCKJC from 1961 to 1963 and worked at the KC Kansan during my Juco years. I was drafted into the U.S. Army from Dec '64 to Dec '66, serving most of my time at Ft Carson, CO. 1969 was an eventful year. I got married, moved from KC,MO to Grandview, MO to Raytown, MO, hired by Yellow Freight System, first child was born.I was married for 28 years to a wonderful woman who passed away July 13, 1997, from leukemia. My other daughter was born in 1974. Both of my daughters are married & also live in Blue Springs, just minutes away from me. I have 3 grandchildren & 1 step grandson. I retired from YRC (formerly Yellow Freight), Overland Park, KS. in 2009 after almost 40 years of service. I am currently in an exclusive 8 year relationship with an outstanding lady.
