I am a proud Wyandotte Bulldog alumni! I have been remarried for three years now to my childhood friend, William Wells. We have a "blended" family of 7 together...his, hers and ours. I brought three sons into the marriage ages 16, 18 and 22. The oldest are both in college; one is a senior Violin performance major at Kansas University (ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKS!) and the other is a freshman Electronics Engineering major at Pittsburg State University. (Also runs on the track team) The sixteen year old is a junior at Piper High School and star defensive back on the football team. My husband also brought three children into the marriage ages 8, 12 and 23. His oldest son is a fireman with the KCK Fire Department, the youngest daughter is in third grade and the oldest daughter is a seventh grader in middle school. Here's the fun part...together we have a 20 month old son!
I am a PMP certified project and program manager and work for Hewlett-Packard. I have been there for eight years. I work in the Software Services Organization and manage all of our software merger and aquisition integration projects and programs. I have a BS Degree in Computer Information Systems from Friends University, a BS Degree in Business Administration from Columbia University and currently pursuing my MBA at the University of Phoenix.
I keep a very busy schedule between work, school, family, church and professional associations. Spirituality is a cornerstone of our family life and I regularly serve in our church by maintaining our church website and online database, participating on numerous ministry committees and coordinating church events. I am also the project director for the Black Family Technology Awareness Association of Kansas City.
