I retired as an electrician on 7-1-2008 and we left town the next morning in our motor home. One of the best parts of our extended trip was Maine and New England in the fall. We returned to KC in November to spend holidays with our kids (3 boys) and 4 grandchildren (3 boys and 1 girl. On Jan 1 we left for Arizona for the rest of the winter. We are staying in a nice resort in Apache Junction. The area around here is very nice with Tempe,Mesa, Scottsdale growing like wildfire. I guess all the retired folks like the great weather and golf the area has to offer.We intend to return to KC in April and maybe stay around for a little while. There is so much to see and do in our great Country. Susie and I are still married and our boys are 38,36 and 25 years old. The grandsons are 7 & identical twins that will be 4 in March, the grandaughter will be 5 in May.
