I lived in Kansas for much of the time after graduation. I earned degrees in Engineering, Economics and Business Administration. After 6 years in engineering the remainder of my career was spent in manufacturing operations. In the early 80s I was an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri in the MBA program and Rockhurst College in the undergraduate business program. The last 19 years of my career, I was the corporate Vice President of Operations for a global electronics manufacturing company based in Wichita, Kansas. Fortunately, the company had manufacturing and service operations in Europe and Asia which provided the opportunity to travel extensively and experience other cultures. I retired in June 07. A few years after high school, I married a former school mate, but we could not make it work, but are still friends. I married again in '79 and we have two children. Both have undergraduate degrees from Wichita State University and both have since earned Masters degrees (WSU and USC). Our son is a music teacher in Neosho, MO and our daughter is a program manager for a sustainability company in Burbank, CA. We had our first grandchild in Janary 2012 and a second in June 2014. We are earning a lot of frequent flyer miles going to CA to see them. In we '07 relocated to a small acreage in SW Missoui and in late 2014 moved to Bella Vista, AR. I stay busy managing my real estate investments, rescuing foreclosed houses and periodically consulting with manufacturing companies. My wife retired last year so we are having a lot of fun traveling, playing golf, catching up on our reading list and trying to stay fit. There has been a lot of "water under the bridge", but looking back at the days at Wyandotte, I appreciate the quality of education, the interesting people in my class and many memorable experiences.
