I left Kansas City in January 1967, and even though I've traveled broadly since, the road has never led back.
I can only imagine how much the place must have changed. I'd love to see it once again ... perhaps some day.
I've been married since 1966, and we lived mainly in New Hampshire, until we moved to England in the early 1990's. We returned to the U.S. in 2000, and have been in Florida since.
We have two sons, and now two granddaughters. Earlier we were never closer than 1500 miles from relatives, even our sons once they grew up (one lived in Sardinia, Italy and the other in St. Andrews Scotland) and our parents (one set lived in Missouri and the other in Florida).
Now, both sons and both granddaughters as well as my mother all live within twenty mile of each other, and we're sort of in the middle.
