Occupation: Self-employed Architect since 1980. Wife of 37 years: Kathryn - Portrait and watercolor landscape artist. Son: Matt (32) - Structural Engineer in Chicago. Son: John (30) - Construction Manager in Kansas City. Son: Mark (27) - Executive Recruiter in Wichita.
Grandchildren: Finally! Who knew getting knocked up would be such an ordeal for generation X?! Anyhoo, John and Kasey are expecting a son in November. Matt and Amy prefer traveling to exotic venues (selfish weasels). And Mark...we're proud to report he's dating within his own species again!
Last year I entered an extreme weight loss program called quintuple bipass heart surgery, and it works! I've lost 40+ pounds, quit smoking, and exercise every day...in fact, all the stuff I should have been doing which would probably have avoided the aforementioned cardiac "event". Fortunately the heart muscle is in great shape, but the heart plumbing must have looked like a Bombay sewer. My doctor says I've got "at least 20 more good years" unless of course Miss Kathryn succeeds in one of her frequent and varied murder attempts.
