After graduation, I served in the Marine Corps.. I returned to Kansas City and worked. I got married in 1962. I had two children, Johnalyn and Debbie. (Both Wyandotte graduates) I began attending college 1970 and received my bachelor in Education in 1974. I later returned to get my master in History, graduating in 1978. After my divorce, I worked for a non-profit agency till 1982. I then began working at Kansas State Penitentiary and retired from there in 2001, as a counselor at Osawatomie Correctional Facility.
